The BMN®, as an acupuncture needle, is included in the range of the needles that the practitioner should have available to treat his/her patient.
He/she must first fill the BMN® reservoir with the chosen drug.

Let us take the treatment of a periarthritis of the shoulder as an example:
 

A periarthritis of the shoulder goes hand in hand with a general energy imbalance which needs to be treated at the same time as the shoulder. Taking the Chinese pulse reveals this and informs of the points, far removed from the shoulder, which have to be pricked to balance the general energy.
After assessing the information gained during the interview and taking the pulse, the acupuncture points far from the shoulder are pricked with regular acupuncture needles and the local, or even regional points, affected by the periarthritis of the shoulder are injected using BMN®s filled (by suction) with the chosen injectable drug.

Let us take the example of obesity or psychism treatment:
It is advised to fill the BMN with physiological salt solution and to inject it into as many of the selected points as possible.

In the `Obesity' file you will find a set of points, the MAJOR POINTS, which it is always recommended to adopt either entirely or partially: They will always be injected.

All the acupuncture needles are removed after twenty five minutes.

Remember that all needles applied to the back of the body must penetrate tangentially to the skin. The patient initially sits on the examination bench then bends to a supine position.
However, before the BMN®s are withdrawn, the practitioner exerts finger & thumb pressure on the BMN® reservoir to administer the volume of drug contained in the reservoir to that precise point.

The acupuncture needles and the metal of the BMN needles play a role in energy stimulation. The effect is perpetuated by the physiological salt solution. The BMN® had two functions: acupuncture needle and mesopuncture.

For doctors who are not acupuncturists, Mesopuncture is a new practice which is easily accessible via Internet (this site for example) and thanks to a good memory and in-depth knowledge of anatomy acquired during the university course.

Its use, in general and for the present, is for any doctor with no special knowledge of acupuncture but with sound training in anatomy
 Its use is limited to the injection of drugs in local points surrounding the pathological zone, seldom far removed from it, if the act is localised (pain, hair loss, etc.).
 

For a general act (Obesity, psychism, etc.) the selected points are indifferent to the local act.
 
A doctor called on to treat osteoarthritis pain for example, in practice daily, will find the recommended mesopuncture points as well as an accurate description of their topographic location in our training programme. The information includes explicit diagrams showing the anatomical, vasculature and innervation connections on which the points are located.
 

Similarly, a doctor called on to treat a general affection (Obesity, psychism, addiction, etc.) will find the recommended mesopuncture points along all the about information in our training programme.

In the same way, it will be possible to question the site to find out what the limits of mesopuncture are in terms of the general pathology you will met, and in the immediate future, the other pathologies treated by mesopuncture, will be available via the Internet training programme.
